The review summarises the progress of the neonatal data landscape in the UK, highlighting the achievements over the last decade as well as the four main challenges faced currently to achieve our vision for the future. The timeline below depicts the progress to date, the challenges faced and our vision for the future UK neonatal data landscape.

Following on from the article, Dr Ngozi Edi-Osagie, the National Specialty Adviser and Chair of the Neonatal Critical Care CRG, has written a commentary in the Infant Journal entitled “”, further emphasising the need for good data.
