Standardising intravenous infusion concentrations in children in the UK
NPPG and RCPCH proposal for a national approach for standardised intravenous infusion concentrations in children.
The Neonatal and Paediatric Pharmacist Group (NPPG), with support from the Royal College of Paediatrics of Child Health (RCPCH) has produced a proposal for a national approach for standardised intravenous infusion concentrations in children for infants over 2kg.
The NPPG and ÐÓ°ÉPro have worked together to update this framework and introduce standardised intravenous infusion concentrations for babies less than 2kg for the most commonly used neonatal infusions.
